As a woman matures, her body becomes curvier than it was when she was in her twenties. In many parts of the world, this body shape is revered as the apex of womanhood. Unfortunately, no one in the fashion capitals of New York City and Paris seem to have received this message.
Too many fashion designers fail to acknowledge the huge number of women who with shapely robust figures. Maybe women in Paris don’t have hips, or have babies, but in the rest the world they do. A few designers, like Karen Kane, understand that women come in all shapes and sizes and make clothing that lets them express that beauty.
Clever fashion designers have long known how to flatter a woman’s figure while keeping extra bulges and curves under control. Tribal sportswear, a Canadian clothing manufacturer, makes bright, stylish clothing lines that include tummy control and hidden expandable waist bands.
Foxcroft blouses work on the same principle and provide sunny styles that fit well without pulling and tugging. And this line is made from wrinkle free fabrics that never need ironing.
They may not be as well known as Calvin Klein, but there are a few clothing manufacturers out there that really understand what a woman looks like.
